The Bible listed seven (7) things God hates. And we should hate them too. As we view these seven things we will see how important these practical warnings are to us.

The Bible uses this expression to explain pride, it also lists pride as the root of all evils. This is the first, of the seven, however as we read the others we will see the downward slide of man; beginning with his eyes, tongue, hands, heart, and ultimately his feet.

Samuel 25:21, where David expresses his frustration after being treated unfairly by Nabal:

The Story Behind David’s Words

David and his men had been living in the wilderness, protecting the flocks and property of Nabal, a wealthy but harsh and arrogant man. Despite their efforts to safeguard Nabal’s possessions, David and his men received no gratitude. When David sent messengers to request provisions, Nabal responded with insults and outright rejection, refusing to acknowledge David’s kindness.
