Prayer is not understood as it should be. There is power in prayer and when we pray it brings us into harmony with God, who is the source of all power. When we pray we should note that we are not informing God of something He does not already know, because He is God, and is acquainted with everything that concerns us.
Because prayer is so important it is beneficial to know how to pray effectively. We should be aware that God loves us and it is His will to help us. Therefore He asks us to come to Him in prayer and He will help us. God's appointed way to bless

1. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7) In life, there will be difficulties, times when we will need help. We pray to make known our wants and to confess our wrongs also to present to Him His own promises.

(Psalm 50:15) We pray because we have a God whose ear is not closed to our requests; and if we prove His word, He will honour our faith.
He is not limited

(John 14:13) When we press our requests to God, we should not be afraid to ask, because God sees our inefficiency and He will help us. He has promised if we seek Him with the whole heart, He will be there for us.
