One Reason to Nurture your Heart

Benefits we have been given that are important to our peace of mind, should serve to motivate us to good works towards the less fortunate, propelling us to devise ways on how we can be or bring blessings to their lives. Be motivated to good works.

Let us endeavour to try these simple steps, we owe it to ourselves. Let me share this beautiful story with you, as you ponder may you also see its beauty and share it with others. The garden of heart.

The simplicity of the story of the “Parable of the Sower,” often goes unnoticed. This story is about our hearts. Here the heart is referred to as a soil. It tells of the four conditions of the heart.
The Sower's intention was to sow this world with truth; while he sowed he did so with words, words here liken to seed and seeds the word of God.

The Sower chiefly deals with the effect produced on the growth of the seed, by the soil into which it is cast. By this parable Christ was virtually saying to all who were listening; God knows our heart and we should allow him to help us.

A quick look at one of this type of heart, we see the “wayside soil” heart, and the action of the seed as it falls upon the (soil) heart of an inattentive hearer.

"And like the hard-beaten path, trodden down by the feet of men and beasts, this kind of heart becomes a highway for the world's traffic, its pleasures and wrongful actions. Absorbed in selfish aims and indulgences, the soul becomes "hardened through deceitfulness.” The spiritual faculties are paralysed. Men hear the word, but understand it not, discerning not that it applies to them."

May we be truthful and honest to ourselves, not making excuses for wrong.
(Luke 8:1-15)

Secret to Overcoming Fear

In a climate of fear and rhetorics of war, we need to repeat the promises of God. Do not become afraid or perplexed. Let your heart repose in God he has promised that He will give you peace. Be encouraged.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline (abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control).

5 Reasons Why We Should Pray

Prayer is not understood as it should be. There is power in prayer and when we pray it brings us into harmony with God, who is the source of all power. When we pray we should note that we are not informing God of something He does not already know, because He is God, and is acquainted with everything that concerns us.

Because prayer is so important it is beneficial to know how to pray effectively. We should be aware that God loves us and it is His will to help us. Therefore He asks us to come to Him in prayer and He will help us. God's appointed way to bless

5 Steps to Perfect Peace

Life can be challenging with all its difficulties and decisions that we have to make each day. Therefore it is important to our spiritual renewal and inspiration to have peace.

Here are five (5) steps to follow, especially to those who aim for a well-lived life.

1. Guard your thoughts:
Our life is what we make it by our thoughts and the things we do. Hence we should guard our hearts and mind. The wise man Solomon alluded to this when he said. "Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life." Be careful of those thoughts.
Proverbs 4:23.
