Take Heart

If a man dies, shall he live again? ( Job 14:14) This question was asked many years ago by Job, and today we are still asking the question. Many have become disheartened and worried as they look upon the times we live in. However, we are reminded to take heart as Christ said. "In my Fathers house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you."Brevity and vanity of life.

I can still hear my mother saying, "in my days this was never heard of; I never imagined I would see this day." That was her reaction to the evil she has seen in our society today. Some have watched their fondest hopes blighted, their precious loved ones torn from them by death. In the book of Timothy, we see a list of things that were predicted, so relevant to what is happening in our world today, it is as if I am reading from the Newspaper.

Here is a brief list of 2 Timothy 3:1-5

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
  1. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, un-thankful, unholy,
  2. Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despising those that are good,
  3. Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
  4. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.
If a man dies, will he live again? Yes! The promises of God still remains true, they are dependable. God is bigger than all our problems. Walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us.

Put away sexual immorality, and take heart knowing you can be sure: No immoral person has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words because these things will bring the wrath of God upon you.
So take heart He is a faithful God and He will help you.
