THE JOY OF LOVE

Love is not proud. It is humble; it never causes another to boast, or exalt himself. When we understand the true meaning of the word we will treat each other with respect and not show acts of rashness or become haughty.
Love is of God, therefore, it is kind, not dictatorial. The heart where love reigns is gentle and compassionate towards others. Whether they respect us or mistreat us.

When love is present transformation takes place. Our attitude towards each other improves; like streams in the desert, it becomes a refreshing and beautifying experience, bringing happiness into the lives of others as well as our own.

Pure love is without partiality and hypocrisy it does not gives kind words to only a few while others are treated with coldness and indifference. God is love and all can experience its vitalizing, healing quality. The love which God imparts to us energises every part of our being; filling us with hope while freeing us from guilt and sorrow.

Love is humility and gentleness, filling us with patience, allowing us to bear with one another in love.

Beloved let us love one another, for love is from God, and anyone loves has been born of God and knows God. Let us not love in word or talk, but in deed and in truth.

When we allow ourselves to receive this precious gift; we experience the joy it imparts. There is nothing in this world that can ever replace the love that God has for us. His love not only brings health but life-giving joy and above all peace.
