OUT OF THE HEART

 
We are told from the word of God "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."  Luke 6:45  "The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart."

Words matter, and it is important we carefully select our words when addressing others. Our words have the power to bring happiness or sadness to another. It is very easy to tell the character of anyone by his/her conversations. one-reason-to-nurture-your-heart.

Are you feeling down, thinking all is lost and there is no hope? There is hope for you. The Bible is filled with precious promises, for you. So be comforted, read slowly, and take each promise as your own. God can be a valuable friend.

"He has given us His very great and precious promises!" 2 Peter 1:4

"He who has promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23.

God has given you more grace to endure all your sufferings. God will give you adequate grace in the hour of your trials. So do not dwell with painful apprehension on your future, trust in God.

Although the man may find it much easier living the single life, for a woman it can be a pain. Unlike the man who is able to have his children whenever he is ready, not so with the woman. She has a specific time in which to do so after which it becomes impossible.   Hence many a young woman become very anxious when they find themself single, with no suitor in sight.

Hope for the hopeless can be found in the Word of the Lord. Knowing that there is a better day coming helps us to overcome the setbacks life throws us. The disappointment that comes our way is bearable because we know that God is able. 

Through faith, we can do the impossible because it moves God to do for us, what we cannot do for ourselves. It also helps us to see that nothing is impossible with God. Many have not, because they ask not! Some receive not because of doubt in the ability of the Great I am. We should strive always to banish doubt from the heart so that whatever we ask of God can surely come to pass. Because faith is the only key that can unlock heavens storehouse.

LETTER TO MY SON

My dear Son, 

I am writing a few things I wish to say to you, the first day I behold your beautiful smile I thank God for you. You will always be my treasured gift! My beautiful jewel, priceless! Today you are a bundle of joy, but tomorrow you will be a handsome nobleman.

I pray that God will grant you strength and wisdom, and guide your young feet in the way they should go. Satisfy you with good health and long life, so that you may never be disappointed, or become discouraged when the task of life becomes too much to bear.

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN LOVE?

Many imagine themselves to be in love especially the young, when in truth they are not! They trust altogether too much to impulse. 
To trifle with hearts is wrong in the sight of a holy God. Often their supposed passion is just fancy for the moment. 
An eager young man is introduced to a pretty or the interesting young lady he should not give himself away too easily, nor be captivated too readily by the attractive exterior of the other.

HAPPINESS IS...

A close look at society today shows that all is not well. The world is in turmoil, everywhere men’s heart are failing them for fear.  All may receive fullness of joy if we but seek to know the will of God and do them. Is there a solution for all these problems?  I certainly know there is. What about you, do you think there is a solution to all these problems?

What is said and what is meant can sometimes prove confusing hence boundaries must always be in place if we are to prevent and protect the most vulnerable in our society. Such demands clarity if we are to avoid the unpleasantness these actions can bring.

Marriage is evidently the real and most wonderful union, it is a lifelong experience. There is a habit which we have yet to overcome, one that can be very annoying.

It is the disposition of many to talk about themselves or problems encountered on a daily basis.

There is another habit we have to strive also to overcome and it is selfishness. We can become so consumed with self to the exclusion of others and their problems.

I do not think that those who participate in this habit are aware of how irritating it can be to others. This displays our weakness and can be a very unpleasant way to gain attention.
