Prayer is God's appointed way to bless and help us. God never hurries so if you experience delay remember He is always on time.

Prayer is the sum total of our life. When you have Christ you have everything.

Through prayer you have the victory over all besetments.  So turn from wrong and seek God, He will hear and answer.

Faith unlocks the treasures of heaven. It is a sin to doubt God.

God can and He will, so through  prayer and trust He will come through for you. It is not what man says but Gods faithfulness.

Set your heart to conquer through prayer and God will reward you above what you ask or imagine.


Prayer is simply  talking with your Creator. God wants to be loved for Himself, but that is only part. He also wants us to know that when we have Him we have everything.

Life Lessons

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood. We wake from one dream into another dream. As Elmo puts it. “Nothing walks with aimless feet." 

He continued by saying. "It is a very busy world. Flowers are busy, filling all the land with perfume and beauty; birds are busy, filling the air with the music of their happy songs; the fields are busy, waving their golden harvests to provide for man; the seas are busy, bearing on their waves the treasures of all lands; the sun is busy, flooding every day with light; the stars are busy, in their patient shining. And for a man to be idle is to be out of harmony with God and his universe.”  

The longer we live, the more I am certain we will see a great difference, between those who aimlessly wander through life and the industrious whose invincible determination continue to set goals and ensure they are met, whose purpose once fixed to continue upward and onward to reach their ultimate goal.

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity, therefore we should spend our days contemplating on what is important to our well being, and finding ways of making it happen. Changes often are unpleasant, but if you are aware they are stepping stones towards achieving your goals, you will not be disappointed.

It was John Quincy Adams who reminds us that "All great changes are irksome to the human mind, especially those which are attended with great dangers and uncertain effects." I do believe, "We cannot alter external things, nor shape other people to our liking, nor mold the world to our wishes but we can alter internal things, our desires, passions and our  thoughts, we can shape our liking to other people, and we can mold the inner world of our own mind in accordance with wisdom; and so reconcile it to the outer world of men and things. The turmoil of the world we cannot avoid, but the disturbances of mind we can overcome." James Allen.

Therefore it behooves us to strive always to overcome life's obstacle, and embrace change. Adopt a right attitude to change, and watch the change you can make, when those difficulties of life claim your attention; rise above all anxiety concerning them. And be at rest; in the midst of strife, uncertainties and calamities you can know the abiding peace of God.

As you go through life always be mindful to the qualities of life to strive for, they are purity, patience, humility, knowledge wisdom compassion, fearlessness and above all exercise love towards all men considering how God through His love died that you can have the abundant and wonderful life.  There is nothing new about change ever since time began change existed, Change is as old as time and as unlikely to disappear. It is the essence of all human experience. All things change, Isaac Asimov puts it well when he said. "It is change, continuing change, inevitable change, that is the dominant factor in society today. No sensible decision can be made any longer without taking into account not only the world as it is, but the world as it will be."

Our heart is the most wonderful organ that has been given to man, it has the ability to love; a truly rewarding experience. It also has the ability to be broken; therefore we ought to cultivate carefully the soil of our heart.

The way of life; the way of death – the choice we make with the opportunity given; to walk with our heads in the clouds or to walk in the sunshine; an old action a new action one must pass away before the other can appear. What will our first choice be?

How To Be Rich In The Things That Matter

Often we  find ourselves chasing after things that are meaningless, things that seem important today only tomorrow comes and they are not so important. As we begin to put first things first, we realize that there are more to life than material gain.  We find that our family, good friends and people are more important than things. Here we see Solomon reminiscing on his life.....


 " I thought in my heart,"come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good."   But that also proved  to  be meaningless.  "Laughter," I said, "is foolish.  And what does pleasure accomplish?"

From the joy of divine communion, Solomon turned to find satisfaction in the pleasure of the sense. How often we too find ourselves chasing after the pleasures of this life only to come up empty with heartaches, sorrow and broken dreams. As he continued we see he did everything possible to gain happiness.....

"I tried cheering myself with wine, and embracing folly - my mind still guiding me with wisdom.  I wanted to see what was worthwhile for men to do under heaven during the few days of their lives.

I undertook great projects:  I built houses for myself and planted vineyards.  I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them.  All of it is meaningless, a chasing after the wind."

Inspite of Solomon's shortcomings the Lord sought to arouse him to the realization of his wrong actions.

"I hated all these things I had toiled for under the sun, because I must leave them to the one who comes after me.  And who knows whether he will be a wise man or a fool?  Yet he will have control over all the work into which I have poured my effort and skill under the sun.

So my heart began to despair over.  For a man may do his work with wisdom, knowledge and skill, and then he must leave all he owns to someone who has not worked for it.

What does a man get for all the toil and anxious striving with which he labors?  All his days and work is pain and grief; even at night his mind does not rest.

A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work.  This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without Him, who can or find enjoyment?  To the man who pleases Him, God gives wisdom,knowledge and happiness."

Solomon's conscience was quickened and he finally saw his errors at last the discipline of suffering had accomplished its work.
