OUT OF THE HEART

 
We are told from the word of God "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."  Luke 6:45  "The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart."

Words matter, and it is important we carefully select our words when addressing others. Our words have the power to bring happiness or sadness to another. It is very easy to tell the character of anyone by his/her conversations. one-reason-to-nurture-your-heart.

Trusting God's Counsel

There are many obstacles in life that we face every day; however, we should not allow these things to interfere with our plans, or cause us to give up on our dreams. The Word of the Lord reminds us that the counsel of the Lord endures forever (Psalm 33:11), therefore if we seek his counsel we cannot fail.

5 Steps to Perfect Peace

 Life can be challenging with all its difficulties and decisions that we have to make each day. Therefore it is important to our spiritual renewal and inspiration to have peace.

Here are five (5) steps to follow, especially to those who aim for a well-lived life.

1. Guard your thoughts:

Our life is what we make it by our thoughts and the things we do. Hence we should guard our hearts and mind. The wise man Solomon alluded to this when he said. "Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life." Be careful of those thoughts.

Proverbs 4:23.

Life Lessons

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood. We wake from one dream into another dream. As Elmo puts it. “Nothing walks with aimless feet." 

He continued by saying. "It is a very busy world. Flowers are busy, filling all the land with perfume and beauty; birds are busy, filling the air with the music of their happy songs; the fields are busy, waving their golden harvests to provide for man; the seas are busy, bearing on their waves the treasures of all lands; the sun is busy, flooding every day with light; the stars are busy, in their patient shining. And for a man to be idle is to be out of harmony with God and his universe.”  

The longer we live, the more I am certain we will see a great difference, between those who aimlessly wander through life and the industrious whose invincible determination continue to set goals and ensure they are met, whose purpose once fixed to continue upward and onward to reach their ultimate goal.
