Trusting God's Counsel

There are many obstacles in life that we face every day; however, we should not allow these things to interfere with our plans, or cause us to give up on our dreams. The Word of the Lord reminds us that the counsel of the Lord endures forever (Psalm 33:11), therefore if we seek his counsel we cannot fail.

Although we may have our desires and goals it is a good idea to pray about it and allow the Lord to guide us through all our plans. “We are told there are many devices in man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord will stand. “(Proverbs 19:21).

We should never forget that God is in control. He determines every man’s destiny, even though many do not acknowledge His power, He is still ruler overall. His words remind us that “He has purposed, and who shall disannul it? And His hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?”(Isaiah 14:27).

Now that we understand the permanence of God’s counsel, let us continue to trust Him for He is reliable and worthy of our confidence. He has the ability to declare the end from the beginning his counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. “(Isaiah 41:10).
