7 Most Hated Things
The Bible listed seven (7) things God hates. And we should hate them too. As we view these seven things we will see how important these practical warnings are to us.
The Bible uses this expression to explain pride, it also lists pride as the root of all evils. This is the first, of the seven, however as we read the others we will see the downward slide of man; beginning with his eyes, tongue, hands, heart, and ultimately his feet.

Secret to Overcoming Fear
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but of power and of love and of sound judgement and personal discipline (abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control).

5 Reasons Why We Should Pray
Prayer is not understood as it should be. There is power in prayer and when we pray it brings us into harmony with God, who is the source of all power. When we pray we should note that we are not informing God of something He does not already know, because He is God, and is acquainted with everything that concerns us.
Because prayer is so important it is beneficial to know how to pray effectively. We should be aware that God loves us and it is His will to help us. Therefore He asks us to come to Him in prayer and He will help us. God's appointed way to bless

5 Steps to Perfect Peace
Life can be challenging with all its difficulties and decisions that we have to make each day. Therefore it is important to our spiritual renewal and inspiration to have peace.
Here are five (5) steps to follow, especially to those who aim for a well-lived life.
1. Guard your thoughts:
Our life is what we make it by our thoughts and the things we do. Hence we should guard our hearts and mind. The wise man Solomon alluded to this when he said. "Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life." Be careful of those thoughts.
Proverbs 4:23.

Not A Spark of Decency
Maurice Baring could relate to not a spark of decency in his time, he would surely find a place in my company, when he states, "Whoever one is, and wherever one is, one is always in the wrong if one is rude." Actions to avoid.
David surely experienced the same when he remarked, "Surely in vain I have guarded all that this man has in the wilderness so that nothing was missed of all that belonged to him, and he has returned me evil for good."

Adding insult to injury
He said he was sick, his plan designed to hoodwinked his father. "Send my sister to my house to make me some cakes," he said, "that I may get well." The father told his daughter, Amnon's sister to go to her brother and prepare some food for him. Not knowing of his wicked plan, that Amnon was feigning sickness in order to accomplish his evil plan. She went to his house to do as she was asked and alas! She was raped and humiliated by her brother and adding insult to injury he chased her away from his home. (2 Samuel 13:1-21).

Food For Thought
"Unlike money, hope is all for the rich as well as for the poor" Fausto Cercignani
There is a constant need for us to foster hope, how solemn is the reflection that with each new day comes a new beginning, new mercies experienced. Therefore through our conversations, our expectancy in life as well as our dealings with each other let us not be anxious about the future.
These 4 steps can help us keep hope alive:
1. Ask for power to keep you, wisdom to guide, patience to endure. God is ready to supply all we need; for He is able to do abundantly above all that we could ever ask for.
(Proverbs 23:8)
2. Do not stress over life issues that you have no control over, rather speak life, call the things that are not as if they are.
(Psalm 43:5)
3. Make it your purpose to start your day with God, by this I mean walking through the day with God. Be in constant communication with Him. Whatever decision you make, seek the counsel of Him, whatever plans place them before Him prayerfully and He will guide you into making the right choice.
(Proverbs 3:5)
4. Before care engulfs you, preoccupy your mind with the promises of God, before enticement comes to fortify your heart with prayer. This will fill your soul with divine sunshine.
(Romans 5:3-5)
Go ahead! Be hopeful!
Keep hopeful knowing that He knows the way that you take. Untried though your path maybe, with the beginning of each day be reminded He knows the end from the beginning.

Dealing With Depression
"When depression settles upon the soul, it is no evidence that God has changed. He is "the same yesterday, and today, and forever." ...if the clouds sweep over your soul, you must not feel that you are forsaken. Your faith must pierce the gloom. Your eye must be single, and your whole body shall be full of light. The riches of the grace of Christ must be kept before the mind. Treasure up the lessons that His love provides."

Ball Is in Your Court
"Some have no firmness of character. Their plans and purposes have no definite form and consistency. They are of but little practical use in the world. This weakness, indecision, and inefficiency should be overcome. There is in true Christian character an indomitableness that cannot be molded or subdued by adverse circumstances. We must have moral backbone, an integrity that cannot be flattered, bribed, or terrified."

7 Reasons Why We Can Trust God
In Isaiah 40 we are given many reasons to trust. Sickness, suffering, and death are works of an antagonistic power. Satan is the destroyer God is the restorer. God's desire for us is that we prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers. Treasury-of-thoughts.
Let us now look at seven (7) reasons why we can trust God.

Prayer Quote #4
Prayer is God's appointed way to bless and help us. God never hurries so if you experience delay remember He is always on time.
Prayer is the sum total of our life. When you have Christ you have everything.
Through prayer you have the victory over all besetments. So turn from wrong and seek God, He will hear and answer.
Faith unlocks the treasures of heaven. It is a sin to doubt God.
God can and He will, so through prayer and trust He will come through for you. It is not what man says but Gods faithfulness.
Set your heart to conquer through prayer and God will reward you above what you ask or imagine.
Prayer is simply talking with your Creator. God wants to be loved for Himself, but that is only part. He also wants us to know that when we have Him we have everything.

Prayer Quotes #3
Prayer is man's link to God. Our channel of communication. God speaks to us through His words; and we respond to Him through Prayers.
God is always willing and ready to hear and to respond to our heartfelt prayers under all circumstances; This is profoundly reassuring. He is a loving Father and He is interested both when things are going well and when they are not.
When we do not receive the things we ask for, at the very time we ask, still believe that God hears and He will answer our prayers.
