PRAYER FOR CHILDREN

Angel 

Heavenly Father, our God, and Creator, who has honored all men with thy own image; who has protected his children and clothed them in their right minds, so that most wise are they who give heed to thy teaching; who reveals wisdom unto babes; who has imparted wisdom to Solomon and unto all who ask for wisdom. O Righteous Lord and Savior, open thou the heart and mind of your children, that they may receive the knowledge and understanding which shall be taught to them, to the glory of your holy name.

MOTHERS PRAYER

Guardian Angel

Holy Father, Immortal from whom all gentleness and goodness comes. Penitently I pray thee for the children whom thou has given me to bear. Keep them in thy grace and holiness, that thy name may be glorified in them. Direct me by thy grace to raise them towards the glory of thy holy name and the benefit of other people. Grant me the gift of the patience necessary to do so.

DUTY TO PARENTS

Recently I was browsing through an old book, I found this beautiful reading. Though it was written more than a hundred years ago it is still relevant to us today. I hope you enjoy it as I did.
