Daily Inspiration
A thing of little value or importance, and even greater troubles, which annoy would soon dissolve and disappear if confronted with a temper that refuses to be ruffled and disturbed.
All can attain calmness and patience when we strife through the effort to obtain calm and patient thoughts. Divine power awaits those who want it, therefore we can claim this power, by continuously thinking calm thoughts as we begin to live it; it is then we begin to experience peace as anger and impatience, pass away.
The peace of God is incomparable, it transcends all understanding, it will guard your hearts and minds. So we are admonished to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, we should let our request be made known to our heavenly Father, who is able to keep in perfect peace all those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in him.
Complete trust in God allows us to demolish every argument and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and cause us to take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ; this makes us able to receive the peace of God, which passes all understanding, enabling us to keep our minds and heart-centered upon Christ and resisting the urge to worry.
All these things we have been told to empower us to be, It is the will of God that we may all have peace. We are reminded in this world we will have trouble but we are encouraged by our Maker and Savior to take heart! For we are more than victorious if we allow God to direct our lives. Christ said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world gives do I give to you, let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.
