PRAYER OF PRAISE

O God, Our Father, we look to you today for our blessings. We praise you for you are worthy to be praised. We thank you for your extraordinary mercies. You have created us in your image with the desire for fellowship, as we draw closer to you, may our fellowship with thee be the basis and supreme blessings with you and with each other.

Our Father, teach us how to wait, Show us our weakness and help us to overcome them. We exalt you, as our God and King; we will praise your name for ever and ever.

2 Every day we will praise you, and extol your name for ever and ever. Keep our feet from dangers, and our eyes from tears; Because great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; your greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. 

Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. You O God are a great God, there is none like you, so help us in our social joys and pleasure to remember you. We will speak of your glorious splendor, of your majesty and will meditate on your wonderful works. Lord, we will tell of the power of your awesome works and will proclaim your great deeds.

7 May we celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. Grant us your peace as we face life's task bravely, and perform them earnestly; and at last bring us in the end with joyful hearts and glad faces to abide with thee., through Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
